Do you like painting and adventures? Then you will enjoy “Scooter Flight” by “Overlap Studio”. In this game, you are mastering a parkour on a scooter to get to desired chests full of treasures. Your only help: lines, which you can draw with collected material. You can also perform some stunts and show off your driving skills on your way. To enjoy the ride, let’s cruise on.

Move with style

Simple Creativity

The game design is kept in a simple drawn style, which doesn’t overload your visual sense. Simplicity does not have to be a bad thing. That’s why I like the design of “Scooter Flight”, which highly reminds me of the drawing program “Paint”. Even though it’s kept in a sketch look, it’s still customizable. You can e.g. choose the color of your avatar, scooter and add hats or other accessories later.

This game challenges your creativity as well. For some levels, you really need to think about how to solve the problem while also showing off some stunts to earn extra points. And this can be a harder task than thought as the level design isn’t too easy to keep it fun.

Dangerous Challenge

I agree that mastering a parkour on your scooter can be dangerous and it’s easy to hurt yourself (safety first!). But I don’t enjoy how easily our little avatar falls apart or loses blood by e.g. kneeling down. A little less exaggeration would still add some fun details and would be more family-friendly in my opinion.

In contrary to removing the bloodiness, there could be the scores added. If you challenge your friends or even yourself, it’s always nice to see what the current high score is. At the moment you can see how good your result is after finishing each level, but I like to see the score while playing as well.

I know that many free games only exist because the advertisements they include, but I would prefer if “Scooter Flight” could show less or shorter ads. As of for now it feels a bit ad-heavy.
